We know how tough being a Mum is and so we decided we’d put on a day of handy and realistic help and advice while your kids happily play. Not only will your kids have both the indoor and outdoor play areas of Piglets to explore, but our wonderful team will be on hand to look after them while you get some real “you time”. At The Mummy Space we’re all about being your village – let us help support you on this crazy Mum journey.
10-11am – Nicky Herringshaw is founder of The Mummy Space, she is also a Physio, Cranio-sacral Therapist and mum of 2 little ladies. She will be giving you an overview of how The Mummy Space works and how best to use our services. She also has lots of pearls of wisdom for you, so be sure to pop along and ask lots of questions.
11-11:45am – Louisa O’Donnell is an expert Career and Confidence Coach. She will be talking to you all about feelings of low confidence, especially when returning to work after having a baby and when wanting to go for a promotion or change in career.
12noon-12:30pm – Lunch
12:30-1pm – Jenna Rutherford will be talking all things Doula and Pregnancy Yoga.
1-1:45pm – Holly Sugars is our incredible private caterer, nutritional coach and weaning expert. Come and have a chat with her and find out how she can help you and your whole family get eating nutritious and yummy food, whatever their age.
2-2:30pm – Stacey Richards is our magical childcare expert. As the owner of SuperSitters, she manages a team of ad-hoc babysitters, nannies, maternity nurses and night nannies. There’s nothing this lady doesn’t know about childcare and how to go about getting exactly what you need to suit your lifestyle needs.
2:30-3:15pm – Ever wondered what exercise is safe for you to do after having kids? Well look no further. Zoe Cowell-Jones is our expert Women’s Fitness Instructor. She can safely and confidently guide you from being 8 weeks postnatal, all the way to being post-menopausal. This will be a practical session, so please bring exercise clothes and water bottles.
3:15-4pm – And finally, Nicky Herringshaw is one of our amazing Women’s Health Physios. She will be talking about all things from leaky pelvic floors to prolapse, painful backs and pelvises, as well as safe return to exercise. This will be an incredibly informative session and a must for all mums.
There will be food available throughout the day from the Piglets cafe and SuperSitters will be on hand to watch your child for FREE while you listen to the talks… yes FREE! This really is time for you, so tell your friends and come and make a day of it!
