Massage therapists at The Mummy Space

By March 27, 2019 The Body Space

At the Mummy Space we have two amazing massage and fascial release therapists, Paula Kemp and Nicola Reed.

We thought we’d explain a little more about what each of them does, helping you decide which one can help you the most with your aches and pains.

Paula Kemp is a fantastic Massage Therapist, Aromatherapist and Reflexologist.

She specialises in treating women, especially those who are trying to get pregnant, are pregnant or any point postnatally.

Paula offer’s a firm but nurturing massage, that is designed to help release areas of tightness and restriction in the body, allowing the body to regain balance and freedom of movement.

Paula also uses reflexology to help support the process of becoming pregnant, especially for those going through IVF, giving the mind and body a chance to relax and prepare for motherhood.

You will no doubt feel thoroughly relaxed and well looked after having one of Paula’s incredible massages.

Nicola Reed is a specialist Fascial Release and Scar Release Therapist.

Fascia is the connective tissue that sits around your muscles, bones, organs, nerves and ligaments…. it’s everywhere!

Often due to poor posture or injury, that fascia can become tight and cause restrictions in movement throughout the body. It can also affect many other things such as digestion and even how you breathe.

When you have a scar, it can bind down the various layers of fascia in the body and significantly restrict movement.

Nicola is incredibly skilled at releasing those restrictions and scars, using a variety of techniques which include the CORE Fascia Release System. By doing so, she allows the body a chance to regain correct alignment and functional movement.

You’ll leave Nicola feeling taller and straighter without a doubt.
